A Little About the Mardi Gras House:

We are a fun and friendly bunch of professionals around 30 and up, who love the Beach, Bay and Dewey Beach Nightlife! The Mardi Gras House is open all year long to our Members, with room for guesting. 
 
Our fully air-conditioned 2-story single family home offers: 8 bedrooms, 4 baths, large living room and family room, newly remodeled kitchen with two refrigerators and more. There's also the standard items, washer & dryer, multiple decks, large outdoor shower, grill, local TV, hundreds of movies, NetFlix and we have both wired and wireless high speed Internet! There is plenty of FREE parking at the MGHouse for all Members and we are only a couple blocks away from The Starboard! So forget all of last year's parking hassles and Drama ...  
 
2013 Summer Membership is $1500 per person. Winter house is $500 per person.
Some Private rooms are available..... but they go fast.

We are a great, fun group of Beach Tanners, Jam Jammers, Starboard Dancers and NO DRAMA. With a side of doggie wave jumpers! From the VA, DC, MD, PA and DE area. Age range from 30 and up = ) House has 4BR and 3 ½ BR and a large sleeping porch. House is equipped with wireless internet, cable, washer/dryer, two decks, grill and outside shower; with a fully equipped kitchen and large living & dining area. Membership Fees: Full Shares pay $2,000 and can come down every weekend if they want too! Half Shares pay $1,400 and can come twice (2x) a month. Half shares are welcome to guest anytime after their two visits. Dog Shares are $100/dog. We are looking to only have 15 members in the house, 10 full and 5 half with the maximum of 3 dogs. Guests are welcome! Guest fees are $60 per night. Dog guest fees are $25 per night. Guests should expect to sleep on air mattress or a couch, but sometimes/most times beds are available. House will be renting out 1 week a month (with the exception of no holidays) to help with utilities, cleaning service and any house hold necessities. Hi Nikki I am currently entertaining the idea of a beach share again this year as I’ve yet to do this! Last summer (my first in DC), I caught on to the idea a bit too late and only saw a house or two with an opening and I passed. Long story short, I think I regretted the decision. About me – I am a 33 yr female that has been in Alexandria for a year and a half. Before arriving here I lived in Florida for 6 years so internal beach bum has been slowly dying. I work as a project manager (yawn) out of Tyson’s corner, but live in Del Ray (next to Old Town Alexandria). Currently, my job comes with some flexibility perks and I have been working from home on Fridays. Secretly, this is a pattern set-up so that I can jet to the beach long before Friday rush hour Of course, I look to my housemates to hold my hand on such things as traffic times/patterns and so many other things that go with the Dewey experience. Can you tell me about the housemates and the group in general? I am definitely looking for a house with a group of professionals 30-40+ age range. If you are looking for a no hassle summer, lotsa fun beach house then our house is for you. I currently have some shares left! Full shares will cost $1650 and half shares $1000 all inclusive. No extra hidden costs! We have our house for 17 weeks, from the weekend before Memorial Day through the weekend after Labor Day. The current members of my house are friendly, outgoing, and considered young professionals - we are a co-ed house. What we are seeking is the same. My house is a huge 7 bedroom that guarantees a bed for members. I don't consider a couch, futon, or pull out sofa a bed. There are 20 bed spots spread out among the 7 rooms. The age range of our house right now is 25 to 37 and everyone is considered a young professional. Our house also doesn't rent out during the week, like some houses like to do. Remember, some group houses require you to leave on Sunday/Monday morning and not return back until Friday evening because they are trying to make some money by renting it out during the mid-week. If you would like to stay over until Monday/Tuesday, come down early on Wednesday/Thursday, or stay the entire week, you are more than welcome to as a member of our house! The house is great, it has been renovated inside, plus a new deck installed in the front (Upper & lower levels). There is parking for at least 13 cars in our parking lot, plus no parking permit is required on our street. You don't have to buy Seasonal Dewey Beach Parking Permit. Central AC, plenty of couches & pull outs for the guests. 2 full kitchens, 2 outdoor cooking grills, 2 outside showers, cable TV, DW, W/D, etc. We are also set up with a weekly cleaning service that comes on Tuesdays and are always on tap 24/7 with Miller Lite!

Join us for our 12th year together in our 3-level, 3-bedroom 3 FULL bathroom (plus outside shower) townhouse in the Bayside Court complex off Dagsworthy Street . We're bayside, right across the street from the liquor store. The Cork is one block away, the Starboard is two, and the Rudder is about four. This is the best location in town!!!!!

 
There's ample street parking available and we know a few tricks to "reserve" spots if you're arriving late. We range in age from late 20s – 40s… We like to have a nice range as it helps with the house dynamic. There's no drama!! We're there to make new friends, get drunk and have fun. The house has WiFi access, three decks, maid service, kegerator and we put a TV and DVD player on the front deck … etc, etc. Guests are welcome. Guest fees range from $35-$50 / night depending on the weekend. Guests should expect to sleep on the floor or a couch, but many times beds are open. We are currently only offering full share memberships. Half shares may become available in the future. We're shooting for 12 members total. Prices are as-follows: Full Share - $1400. $100. of which goes towards the security deposit. Hopefully the house will look as good at the end of the summer as it does at the beginning. Assuming we get the entire security deposit back, you will get a $100. refund at the end of the summer. A full share includes 19 weekends from Memorial Day through October 3rd. Also includes Starboard opening (St Patty's weekend), Starboard Closing (in November) and New Years 2011!!!! Full shares will be guaranteed a bed (not necessarily a specific bed or the same one each week). We can discuss a payment plan if you can't pay in full. 1960's style huge, 3-story, gray clapboard beach house for rent, 30 YARDS OFF THE BEACH. $1395/wk June and $1495/wk July/Aug. SUNDAY 5PM through FRIDAY 5PM, NO WEEKENDS. Sleeps 10 comfortably. We are a group of mainly 30 and 40 year olds with a really long beach season, from 4/29-9/18, so 21 weeks. We have ½ shares which get up to 11 non-assigned weekends (shares choose any 11 they want) and full shares which can visit as much as they want up to all 21 weekends. Our ½ shares are $1,262 and full are $1,808. Unlike most houses in Dewey this includes parking (a seasonal pass usually costs $200 so it is a big perk to have parking for 12 cars). We have 5 bedrooms and sleep 15 in beds, so we are rarely crowded. We directly face the bay and have 2 decks that look out so we have a great view. Its 2 blocks to the ocean and most days we set up a volleyball net on the beach. (Some of us watch, some of us play.) If you're looking for a no drama, no drugs house and a fun group of housemates, let us know.

Summer season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend (Full shares - $1500 which gives you use of the house on weekend and weekdays! Half shares are $900 for any 8 weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Full shares are $1300 and allow you to go whenever you want (if you wanted to live here for the summer, be our guest!) Space is limited (2-3 spots left). **Oh, and did we mention a share entitles you to a bed and all the beer/liquor you can drink since our fridge is fully stocked at all times? :-)

Best location in Dewey, our brown A-frame house is well known as a party spot. We are located at 106 Dagsworthy, right across the street from the Bottle and Cork and Dewey Beach Liquors. Our house is a fun mix of 20s, 30s and 40 somethings from DC, Baltimore, and parts of PA. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths + additional shower and plenty of beds. We have a huge porch that faces Dagsworthy on the bay side and the people watching is pretty phenomenal coming to and from North Beach. We love drinking games and loud music and of course The Starboard is our staple- just ask about our $2000+ bar tab our house rings up every Labor Day Suicide Sunday starting at 9 am!

Full and half shares available for 2012 beach season! Spacious, clean, 4 bedroom house with 3 full baths, outside shower, deck and large patio. Located, bayside, on Clayton Street. Two blocks to the beach and within walking distance to ALL the bars, of course. Maid service bi-weekely, kegerator, cable, WiFi. We range in age from early 30s to 40s. Although our ages vary, everyone has a common interest of alcohol and having fun! Full shares are $1450 plus $100 security deposit and half shares are $950 plus $100 deposit. (Deposit will be returned at the end of summer if house is intact) Full shares have unlimited weekends between May 18 and September 11. Half shares get 8 weekends in the house. Guests are welcome, the fee is between $40 and $50 per night depending on the weekend. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested and have any questions!

End unit townhouse, 3 bd, 2 1/2 baths, outdoor shower, modern kitchen, washer/dryer, screened porch, wrap around deck and a bbq. We are a fun loving, laid back group ranging from the 30's to 50's. We often have bbq's and hang on the screened porch before heading to the Starboard. Full and 1/2 shares available. Full is $1,350 and 1/2 is $750. The season starts 5/18, a week before Memorial day and goes through 9/9, a week after labor day. A 1/2 share is 8 weeks. We do not have A & B weekends just come when you want untill your share is up.
