The busiest 2 week stretch of the year here at The Starboard has arrived. From tomorrow through the Sunday after Bull Running has always been the peak of our season. I have to remind half our staff as they work every single day and night for 15 straight days how they have the months of December, January and February OFF!!! We are all excited for this festive time of year, and glad that most all our Starboard Peeps will be in town at some point, hopefully to spend extended time here in Dewey and enjoy all this town has to offer. Hit the beach, rent jet skis, try some new restaurants, whatever you never take time to do on the normal weekend schedule, this is the time of year to mix things up! That being said, we have a full lineup nightly at The Starboard for you, so you can start with Breakfast any and every day, and entertainment each and every night! | | |

We have two great web cams available on our website for you now. The original is still outside in our parking lot; the second one is now shining on our dining room stage so you can check in to see our live entertainment online. If you can't make G. Love...you won't be able to hear him online but can surely see him via the Starboard Band Cam. Anytime we don't have live music, it gives you a shot of our back dining room. We would never show the bar area as too many of you act crazy...wouldn't want your relatives to see you in Dewey! Haaa! Seriously, we figured this was the best way to give a small flavor of The Starboard online, without infringing on anyone's privacy to have fun at the beach. |

It's no secret anymore what happens around this place on a holiday Sunday morning...we will be stocked, staffed, and prepared for the masses come Suicide Sunday this week. I expect plenty of unusual outfits, characters, and crowds early Sunday morning for one of the bigger Suicide Sundays of the year. We have plans to cook out in the parking lot - delicious burgers, dawgs, as well as egg sandwiches, etc. With all the partying taking place, we do our best to remind everyone to EAT SOMETHING (other than just late night wings & pizza)! Elvis will be on hand for his usual Sunday routine about the crack of Noon, then Doug Segree will hit the back stage, with LauraLea & Tripp Fabulous here Sunday night.
With holiday weekend cover charges running high around town...you can always come enjoy fun times at The Starboard without paying a cover...EVER!

Just a week to go till our most famous annual event, THE RUNNING OF THE BULL!
We have some plans to make it 'sillier' than ever this year...
expect record setting crowds starting at 9:00 am next Saturday...and pray for great weather as last year was the first rainy Running of the Bull in 13 years. The Parking Lot party will kick off first thing in the morning, LauraLea will be on stage shortly after the run, and we will all see nothing but a sea of Red on the streets of Dewey the entire day. By far our favorite day of the summer season, I'm sure most of you have it marked in Ink on your calendars...so let the countdown begin! |

Rehoboth, Bethany, and Lewes will all have fireworks displays about 9:00 pm on Monday night the 4th. Traffic is always crazy...if you're interested, walk down to the beach and enjoy the show. I remind you that you can see the Rehoboth fireworks from right here on the deck at The Starboard! Monday the 4th we still have live music on our deck, and those that didn't hurt themselves too bad on Sunday will be here for the fun.
