  We are starting to prepare for the biggest St. Patty's Day Party ever seen in these parts...the famous Starboard Opening Weekend / St. Patrick's Day Bash! The parking lot will be covered, the green carpet laid down, and a full supply of green beer for all to enjoy.

The famed Starboard VIP cards will be available to all this weekend.... with representatives on hand to get them out to each of you in attendance. Entertainment is lined up for one crazy fun weekend... with a Jamming St. Patty's afternoon of Doug Segree and friends, then Suicide Sunday with Kristen (of Kristen and the Noise)
and Joe Daphne!

There is only one place to be this St. Patty's Day... THE STARBOARD! Of course there are several other spots open over our Opening Weekend that we hope you find time to visit as well. These restaurants have been open all winter keeping those of us still here sane, by provided some great fun! Hammerheads, Woody's Grill, Scully's, Port, and The Lighthouse have all been open, and will all be open over our Opening! A new addition to the mix is next to Nalu, the Whiskey BBQ Bar.... opening early February! Plenty of attractions to fill your weekend in addition to the craziness of The Starboard! 		 
Don't Forget! WINTER GALA February 18th, 2012.
  On Saturday, February 18th many of Dewey's businesses will host the annual Winter Gala, a benefit to help purchase needed supplies for our lifeguards and police departments in town. These two organizations do so much for not only the safety of everyone in Dewey Beach, but also for our businesses. This event is one of the many ways the Business community gives back! The Starboard, Bethany Blues, Que Pasa, Lighthouse, Hammerheads, Woody's, and Port all kick in to provide Food, Drink, and a great night out on the 18th!

This is a black tie optional party; about half of the guys wear tuxes, the other half are in suits. All of the women are decked out! Tickets are just $85 which includes a full open bar, (we have five themed bars!) 8 food stations, and some great entertainment from THE SKIP CASTRO band, Jimi Smooth & Hit Time, Keith Mack & Ed Shockley, then some smooth jazz from Comfort Zone on the lower level.
