The Big Wheel Pub Crawl & Race for Breast Cancer returns to Dewey Beach this Saturday, August 21st! Dust off your big wheel and head on down to The Starboard. Races will take place in The Starboard parking lot on their freshly installed pavers. (Those stones made this race tough the past few years!) Registration begins at 1pm and races begin at 2pm. Although not required, a big wheel is encouraged. Don't worry if you can't scrounge one up and you want to enter the races, we'll have a few extra! Crawlers and Racers will receive a pink wristband and t-shirt, while supplies last. This will allow you to enjoy specials at the crawl bars - The Starboard, Scully's, Gary's, Woody's, Hammerheads and Grottos.

Drag and Obstacle Course Race Winners will receive prices which include Starboard Gift Certificates as well as prizes for the best decorated big wheels.

There will be a Pre-Registration Party at Grottos Blue Hen Bar on Friday August 20th from 8pm-10pm!

The weather is looks a little "iffy" on Saturday, so it's a perfect day to come to The Starboard all afternoon and help raise money for Breast Cancer as we are all affected with loved ones or close friends by this awful disease at some point in our lives.


The ladies of the Ravens will be here at The Starboard this Saturday between Noon-3pm. IF you are a Ravens fan come on by for pictures and autographs. With so many Ravens and Redskins fans, (among other teams of course) in town this time of year, the cheerleaders appearance is a nice pregame to the big preseason game shown at The Starboard on our 35 High Definition Plasma TV's Saturday night. We will do our best to show all the games we can get over the weekend and each in High Definition so your view is crystal clear!


Always the best day of the weekend at The Starboard, we've had some huge Suicide Sundays, and this week is no exception. Elvis will be on hand to entertain during breakfast - about the "crack of noon" (he's getting up there in years, noon's as early as we can get him anymore!) Full breakfast menu is served until 2pm every single day. Then Doug Segree hits the stage by 2pm and rocks out there til close to 6pm. Sunday night we get our last showing of Baltimore's best band, CAN'T HANG! If you have not seen CAN'T HANG yet do yourself a favor and atleast stop by for a drink to check them out. Our staff here at The Starboard has really fallen in love with their music!

Bar Golf is scheduled for August 28th and online registration is open until Sunday, August 22nd. Bar Golf is in it's 18th year and continues to be one of the coolest events of the summer.Buy your shirt and sharpie and tour Dewey for the day. As of Thursday, they have only sold a little over 100 shirts which is much lower than previous years. They are limiting the amount of "extra" shirts to maximize charitable donation, so be sure to get your crew together and register online before the August 22nd deadline.
