What else can we do to make this event even bigger? How about temperatures here in Dewey Beach in the mid 70's all weekend to welcome you all back for a phenomenal St. Patty's Day experience! The Starboard is ready, the tent has been raised...the place is stocked...as you look out your window... know its only HOURS till you are on your way back to Dewey Beach!
We will open our doors this Thursday, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and fun all day and night. DJ John Hardy is here with us Thursday night to kick off the year.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we have plenty planned to keep your weekend filled with fun. VIP Cards are on their way and will be distributed all day and night Friday/Saturday/Sunday. This year's version brings us the look of Delaware's classic 'black license tag'. These tags are very valuable in Delaware...as are our VIP customers...so it made sense! |

On Saturday afternoon....we will have Doug Segree and friends playing for you, while mixing in a few Irish favorites to celebrate the day. We are expecting a massive turnout for Saturday's Annual St. Patty's Day part at The Starboard!
Sunday afternoon, it's Kristen from Kristen and the Noise. She will be joined by our buddy Joe Daphne. They will be here on stage every Sunday night this summer, why not kick off the season the only way we know how...in style with Kristen and Joe on a Sunday! |

Just Monday this week we finished the installation of an incredible new Perlick draft system to our inside bars. This will feature TWELVE new Micro/Craft beers for you to enjoy while here. Here is our craft brew menu to kick off the season:

Meaning we have Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, Heineken, Corona, DogFish, Stella, Blue Moon, Yuengling, Michelob Ultra, etc. We now carry over 30 Beers at The Starboard! As for liquor selection, we are again proud to feature Smirnoff as our house pour...you won't see any plastic rail bottles of booze in this place! With St. Patty's Day hitting on a Saturday this year...seems plenty of other businesses in town will also open their doors. Of course there are those that have been open all winter, you can imagine how excited they are to see so many people back in town for Starboard Opening! Just to list what I am aware of open this weekend here in Dewey Beach...Woody's, Scully's, Gary's, Hammerheads, The Lighthouse, The Rudder, Que Pasa, Port, Whiskey Bar, McShea's, and of course Wings to Go, Mama Celeste, along with Sunrise....oh...and our man Sharky is all open and stocked up ready for you to stop in!

I love this place as much as so many of you, and appreciate how well you all seem to take care of everyone around The Starboard. I mentioned last week, you will notice some upgraded 70" High Def TV's at The Starboard when you return. We are loaded with DirecTV so we can get every game available. You won't find a better spot for all the NCAA Action than right here. Thursday night at 9pm, Loyola & Coach Jimmy Patsos (who has bartended right here at The Starboard) take on Ohio State...we wish our buddy Coach Patsos the best, and promise to raise a glass in support of his first ever NCAA appearance. I was asked to advertise this event for our friends at Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's International Realty. They will be hosting an open house tour through Dewey Beach on Saturday, March 17 from 12 noon to 3 pm. Open to the public, the event will showcase the brokerage's Dewey Beach homes for sale, from ocean front properties to in-town cottages and condos. In addition, each home on the tour will also feature a St. Patrick's Day inspired drink and appetizer. Everyone who visits four or more open houses on the tour that day should drop off their punch card for a chance to win $200 in gift certificates to some of Dewey Beach's fabulous restaurants and bars.
