Closing Weekend 2010!
Date: November 4, 2010
Here we go, the final Starboard weekend of the season is ready to go. Word on the street is that a ton of people are heading back to good ole Dewey Beach this weekend to close this place up the right way! We welcome you all, gets a little quiet in this town come mid-October! Here is our schedule for this final weekend:
Thursday 7pm-1am
"Local's Closing Party"
Friday 4pm-1am
DJ Smoky will be on hand with all of our summer staff, see you once you hit town!
Saturday 8am-1am
The Big Bash! All day and all night The Starboard will be rocking this Saturday. All three DJ's will be here starting at 10am. More than likely those of you that get here past 9pm would have to wait in line, that stinks in the summer months, but more so in cold November. Hopefully nobody has any problems, but we do limit the people to keep this place safe. Bring your VIP cards as we will have that door open as well as you Insiders who can use the North door anytime.
Sunday
Final Suicide Sunday of the year! A bittersweet day for sure, though it's nice to close up and take some time away from The Starboard, most all of us love this place so much we hate when it's closed. Then again, we couldn't have that incredible Opening Party if we don't close. Sunday is always a blast, we will keep the place stocked and going all the way till Last Call on Sunday. Many of you stay over Sunday night as well....so we plan to have plenty of staff on hand to wind down the final hours of our 2010 season right up till 1am.
Other Businesses Open in Town
With so many businesses already closed up for the winter months, I will do my best to let you know who is here and open this weekend for you as come back for Starboard Closing.
Mama Celeste - of course your late night pizza shop is there for ya, their final weekend too!
Skully's - across the street, Ben, Sharon, and Jadi will be on hand for their final weekend of 2010.
Hammerheads - Open all year!
Woody's Grill - Open all year too!
McShea's - have been open weekends, assume they too are here for the weekend.
The Lighthouse/Cove - Open all year!
Que Pasa - Still open while the good weather lasts!
Ponos - Looking for a great dinner spot - they are open all year Tues-Saturdays.
That's about it for Dewey as far as I can think of, I'm sure to have missed someone and will hear about it, but just wanted to show you all that there are plenty of things to do this weekend for those precious few moments when you are not at The Starboard!!

More to come on New Years at a later date, tickets are in stock this weekend and available, or you can purchase them online after this weekend and we will stick them in the mail to you.Yuletide Madness 2010!
Saturday night, December 4th, many Starboard regulars will again host the famous Yuletide Madness black tie Holiday party. Our own DJ Smoky will be on hand along with Kristen and the Noise. This weekend at The Starboard Smoky will have tickets available for people and will be giving a few away from time to time. Another party that sells out every year, with it being such a Starboard customer event, we want it to be easy on you so have information here all weekend. Or you can visit their website www.Yuletidemadness.com
We are all looking forward to some great weather and great friends being back in town this weekend, drive safe on your way to Dewey and we will be here ready to serve! Thanks again for keeping The Starboard on top again this year here in Dewey Beach, we appreciate each and every one of you for making this place so much fun!
