Gearing up for the Final Four Weekends of Summer!

STARBOARD UPDATE – THE FINAL STRETCH OF SUMMER!

Can you believe it? We are down to just 4 summer weekends remaining! All of you that have half shares had better be here and taking advantage of the incredible summer weather, the awesome entertainment, and all that Dewey Beach has to offer on these final four summer weekends! This past weekend was extremely "activity heavy" at The Starboard. Scavenger Hunts, Beer Pong, the Pimp & Ho Costume Contest, the Firemen's Fundraiser, Elvis, Doug Segree, Kristen & Joe... thanks for being a part of so much of this and making it fun for all! (The Firemen's Fundraiser raised over $6K Sunday night
for the DC Burn Foundation... Thanks to All!)

Currently we have a chance of showers over the weekend. For those of you have been coming to Dewey Beach for years... you know that is a very exciting forecast for The Starboard! When it Rains... We Pour! More than likely the weather will be sunny as usual, with a few passing storms late in the afternoon.
We will be prepared regardless!

This Saturday at The Starboard, beginning at 11am, your favorite bartenders (along with myself and a few other staff members who dare to give it a try) will be taking turns getting into a Dunk Tank to help raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Not only will you be able to buy chances to see your bartenders get soaking wet, there will also be kick ass T-shirts! The shirts were created and designed by a local Delaware artist and are a great way to show your support and get a killer T! Shirts will be $10 and supplies are limited! And to help improve your aim, there will even be special MS shooters being cocktailed, with all proceeds going directly to MS! So don't miss out! Get to The Starboard at 11am sharp, buy a T-shirt, dunk a bartender, buy a shot (or two) and support MS awareness on this fine Saturday afternoon. All proceeds benefit
National Multiple Sclerosis Society!


	Sundays are certainly Fundays around The Starboard, from 8 o'clock in the morning all the way till the wee hours of Last Call at 1am! The addition of Kristen and Joe on Sunday nights has made our regular Suicide Sundays dramatically crazier this season. At Noon this Sunday, Elvis makes his way around the place as we honor our customary Breakfast with Elvis, early afternoon Doug Segree takes the stage for an afternoon deck party with awesome live music, and inside we will have all three of our DJ's spinning beginning at 9am. Orange Crushes, The Starboard's #1 selling cocktail, are just $6 all afternoon and Bud Lights just $3.50 all day and night. Sunday night, after a nap and some food, it cranks right back up to full speed with Kristen, Joe, and this week Marty, formerly of Burnt Sienna. This trio has brought an energy level to Sunday nights we truly appreciate...and thanks to so many who have been loyal each and every Sunday night this summer. We throw in ridiculous drink specials with $1.75 Natty Lights, $2.75 Bacardi drinks, and $3.75 Bombs, making your wallet happy to party at The Starboard on Sunday nights! Our entire staff looks forward Suicide Sunday... to seeing you and enjoying a great day with everyone!

August 20th –
Bar Golf is an Annual Charity Bar Crawl that draws a HUGE crowd. This is a golf themed bar crawl and is something you won't want to miss each year. Over 500 participants will gather at The Starboard at 3pm to start their crawl through Dewey and they will work their way south stopping at all their favorite spots. Everyone will be armed with a Bar Golf T-shirt and a Sharpie before they are set loose. For more information, visit:

Online Registration is only open until August 17th, so reserve your spot TODAY! The remaining shirts will be sold at The Starboard on Friday, August 19th from 5-7pm and Saturday, August 20th from 11am–1pm.

On Saturday, October 8th, The Starboard will host our first ever 5K race, entitled "DEWEY DOES PINK, the Gugie Run". Hope many of you can add this to your hectic event calendar as we are planning a major fall event with this race and parking lot pig roast, etc... Breast Cancer is personal to each of us in different ways as we are all affected in one way or another at some point of our lives. The Starboard will pull out all stops to Paint Dewey Pink on this weekend. More to follow on this next week with all details, if you can join us for the 5K or just support the event, trust me, it will be much appreciated!
