Starboard Summer 2011! Kristen, G. Love, & Flag Day!

So far we've been extremely fortunate to kick off the 2011 Summer Season in outstanding fashion. The weather has been ideal and crowds larger than in recent years! All in all we're on a roll for a great summer. Now we turn our attention to the event portion of the season... the next 6 weeks are filled with events in some way related to The Starboard. Hopefully, you are able to be down here and take part as the season starts to fly by once we hit the 4th of July.

With the actual FLAG DAY falling mid-week this year, we've decided to celebrate FLAG DAY this Sunday and start the patriotic portion of our season. Over the past 4 years, we have teamed up with our friends at Nalu Restaurant to throw a small parade from Nalu to The Starboard, with a nice deck party to follow here at The Starboard. This year we will celebrate FLAG DAY this coming Sunday, June 19th! The Fireman's house across from The Starboard will host the parade. What better way to make Father's Day even more special than to bring Dad out, grab a flag, and hand him a Budweiser with the American Flag stamped right on the can! See you all this Sunday for FLAG DAY 2011. Parade starts at 2pm from Nalu, then back here to The Starboard by 2:30pm.

Off to a fabulous start in her first two weeks, Kristen is now live every non-holiday Sunday night at The Starboard this summer. Kristen and Joe have done acoustic together for years. They team up with members of other bands from time to time, like Marty formerly of Burnt Sienna, to provide a new Sunday night Dewey tradition. This past Sunday the place was full, as people were psyched to have Kristen live at The Starboard! Throw in some ridiculous drink specials like $1.75 Natty Lights, $2.75 Bacardi drinks, and $3.75 BOMBS! No reason not to save some money and enjoy the great times here at The Starboard this Sunday night! Come on by and welcome Kristen to The Starboard.

Back for another awesome acoustic show at The Starboard! G.LOVE will be here live on Thursday night, June 30th. The Starboard's little treat to kick off the 4th of July Weekend. Phones are ringing off the hook about tickets. (Non-Starboard people just don't understand when we say 'no tickets/cover required) All I can suggest is to get here early as it's gonna be crowded! Come down Thursday night to celebrate the 4th of July, and enjoy G.LOVE here at The Starboard on our inside stage starting by 9:30pm!.

Always one of the best traditions Dewey Beach has to offer! We hope to see you here bright and early each and every Sunday morning this summer for our full line up offered in making Sundays the best day of everyone's week! Breakfast with Elvis at Noon, Doug Segree Band on deck at 2pm, followed by Kristen & Joe at night. Specials all day from Bud Lights, to buckets of Limey's, to Natty Lights, Ruby Red Crushes! Nobody offers the amount of discounts we have at The Starboard! Be sure to schedule your day around all the fun at The Starboard! No doubt we will carry the final day coverage of the local U.S. OPEN on all of our 35 High Definition screens this Sunday!
