 What an amazing story this is. This past Saturday, we organized with Aaron Dunphy of www.LowDigitTags.com to do a Starboard VIP Card Auction raising money for the B+ Foundation. www.BePostive.com is a foundation funding families with children suffering from cancer. Most of the money goes directly to those families dealing with children with cancer, the rest goes to research to fight children's cancer. Thanks to all that helped make this a raging success! The total amount of money raised for this by selling off 25 Starboard black low digit VIP cards was an amazing $15,067!! All involved were SHOCKED at the generosity of our Starboard loyal friends & customers. Thank you all so much for giving to such a great cause with this unique opportunity. Below is the price paid for each Starboard VIP Card, totaling over $15,000! |

 This weekend The Starboard and The Ruddertowne Restaurants (Que Pasa/Lighthouse-Cove) have spent over $6,000 to pay for an added Police presence on the streets of Dewey Beach from 9pm-2am each night. Property owners and neighbors often complain about the noise levels of visitors to Dewey Beach walking home at 1:30am...screaming in the streets, etc... This is our offer to help with this by adding to the police force with uniformed officers from other jurisdictions to help remind everyone to RESPECT OUR NEIGHBORS while walking home. General concensus in Dewey is that everyone loves what we are, loves the fun nature and nightlife in town, just asks that people walking home PLEASE keep it down. We hope everyone can understand so we can continue to have a good working relationship with our neighbors. Thanks for understanding us doing our part to make a tough situation better! Shhhhhhhh! |

 Again, don't tell too many people about Sunday Morning as we can't hold all that want to be a part of the BIGGEST SALES DAY OF OUR YEAR! Heed the warnings...get here EARLY on Suicide Sunday so you wont be waiting in line. We generally have a long line to get in by 9:30AM this holiday Sunday. I will pass out bottled water and Smuckers Peanut Butter & Jellies as you wait! We hate that you have to wait when this place is at capacity, will do all I can to make that experience the best it can be for you. Just remember...get here early! |

 Doug Segree will be on our deck Monday afternoon, so once the biggest of crowds are gone, join us for breakfast and some fantastic music by Doug Segree. Monday night we close out the weekend with KRISTEN & ANTHONY GALLUCIO. Kristen and Joe Daphne will play live every non-holiday Sunday night this summer, as a special treat you can catch KRISTEN here this Monday night to end your weekend. Again...no Cover Charge to see Kristen at The Starboard.

For anyone that has yet to step foot onto our amazing beach this year, you will be shocked at how big it is. The Army Corps of Engineers spent months replenishing Dewey, Rehoboth, and Bethany Beaches this winter. Our beach will blow your mind at how big it is. Actually, you may be out of breath by the time you get to the ocean...
maybe consider a bar stool at The Starboard instead! Ha. |

Our Chef Bobby Varua will have the grill rolling this weekend out front of The Starboard, with the place so busy all weekend, we offer this as a fantastic option to grab something to eat all morning and afternoon both Saturday and Sunday. The Starboard will be nuts all day Saturday and Sunday, very hard to get a table to eat. Therefore we felt it in everyone's best interest to do as we have for years, and offer Egg Sandwiches, Burgers, Dawgs, etc... on a grill right out front. Those orange crushes have a strong effect the next morning, don't forget to FEED YOURSELF so you can enjoy this great weekend. |
