If you missed Saturday's Bull Running, you were in the minority! This place had record crowds, record sales, and just a fun filled successful Bull Run for all! We were at full capacity before 11am on Saturday...with a new set up featuring LauraLea's stage out in the parking lot...everything went off as well as we could have hoped on all fronts!
The Rehoboth Beach Firemen were in the lot selling this year's Bull Running T-Shirts and Bandanas...they sold $5,000 worth of shirts and The Starboard kicked in an additional $1,000 to split the $6,000 donation as $3,000 to the Rehoboth Beach Fire Department and $3,000 towards buying our Dewey K-9 unit a new Chevy Tahoe by next season. Thanks from these guys to all of you for helping donate to these great organizations that do so much for us!

On Saturday, we gave out over 70 cases of bottled water for free to try and keep everyone hydrated, and handed out 500 peanut butter& jelly sandwiches! With so many hitting the crushes early, we wanted to do our part to try and keep people going strong all day! For the most part, all went well...as I watched everyone come back over the dune line after the run...some of you looked like you could use some oxygen! All behaved well and I thank you from all of us at The Starboard for this...we certainly want to continue this for many more years!
LauraLea & Tripp Fabulous rocked the outside parking lot party...we had the entire show simulcast throughout the restaurant for all to enjoy! A great day for our 15th Bull Run...and the Matador finally won a bull fight – nice work Kenny G! Michael McDonnell started this tradition a mere 15 years ago with about 30 friends...now with two kids, it's the one day his wife gives him the hall pass to come back to The Starboard and be 22 years old all over again! | | |

This Sunday is another big event for us at The Starboard, the annual Wings to Go Suicide WING EATING CONTEST! This has gone on at The Starboard for well over 20+ years...this Sunday we see if anyone can hang to eat over 100 Suicide Wings in 30 minutes flat! No drinks, no bread, and sorry...no puking! Always a hot afternoon filled with laughs...if you want to try and win the $500...be here ready to go Sunday morning, we take the first 30 registrants then start the contest at 2pm.
Wings will be followed with our own USA Women's Soccer team in the WORLD CUP FINALS! 2:45 is the kickoff...nobody in Dewey has the number of TV's we do at The Starboard. All 36 High-Def Plasmas will be ready to go for the World Cup....we will switch the sound on and off throughout the game as needed. Bring out the Red, White, and Blue and GO USA!

You have just over a week to prepare for our Christmas in July Party...Rudolph's Revenge! As busloads from Philly and New Jersey fill The Starboard on Saturday afternoon, July  23rd, we hope you can all be here in your Holiday gear to mix it up a little! We have a great band out of Philly, Eleven Eleven on stage that afternoon with tons of beach house competitions, games, prizes, and FUN! Break out your Santa hat for the party on the 23rd!
